The trade has been approved already so it cant be taken back now..Like i was told some times u lose trades sometimes u win .. And lets be honest Jackets u get Bernier who is young and gonna be good and will be a starter if not next year.. Yah i get Carter but can this guy stay healthy for a full season.. I bet not...And with Carters whole 12 goals this season i think u did alright in this trade even if PPP get added.. I feel i give enough in Bernier for a guy made of glass.. So yah if it was gonna cost more than what u got then i wouldnt do it

THIS!!! PowerPlay points needs to be added to the league for it to be fair at all.
AS blackhawks eluded to earlier a 3rd liner or shutdown d has the same value as a top scoring superstar.
Because of the stats such as BLocked shots, Hits, PIM a player like vladislav smidis worth the same as Patrick Kane who excels at goals, assists, shots
essentially the curet scoring sytem degrades superstar scoreers to being just as valuable as a Mark Stuart or a Ryan O'Byrne. And in many trades the value of these 4th liners and shutdown d is often underestimated. Adding powerplay points is a must. I have talked to some other owners and they agree. Adding this stat will at least give a little more value to actually good players.
If not trades like
Jeff Skinner + Patrick Kane for Dan Girardi + Mark Stuart will begin to happen, and this would just be crazy and the league wouild be a complete "grinders" league.

Totally agree.. Its great having shut down D as a value cause these guys are so underrated and deserve credit and blocked shots hits pims are great too have in the league but yes definately we have too add PPP so that the good forwards have value

Remember we originally had goals, assists, PPP, +/-, shots and hits. then we removed PPP and added PIM and blocks. so think of it as just reinstating PPP

or we could take away PIM? And add PPP.
Or simply just remove PIM and not add PPP Or just remove blocked shots Looks as though we will just be adding PPP which is fine.

This is why all the rules should be ironed out before trading starts because now its just one big freakin disaster. Some of those trades people mad maybe they wouldnt have done that. Like now some of my players are not going to be as valuable and im really not too happy about that at all.

...I believe your only trades are Kane for Ward (which everyone said should be vetoed because it was too good for you and still is) and Bogosian and a 3rd for Yandle (Yandle gets soooo many more PPP than Bogosian) so I really don't know what you're complaining about

I don't see what the big deal is. PPP is a must have stat to keep value of players more realistic. You guys realize you still have like 8 months to iron out your team for next year, and this change will definitely make the pool better in the long run. This isn't exactly a disaster. I wouldn't also mind taking out PIM. Rewarding a guy for tripping seems a bit foolish. I know it's really the only stat to reward a grinder (aside from hitting), but real life GMs dont want their players getting PIM, why should we

I think we should hold off on introducing a new stat until next year. I think too many trades have been made based on the current stats setup. Wont be the end of the world if we do have PPP but I think next year would be better.

Why wait? Then there'll just be more trades that people will regret. There's plenty of time to make rule changes

I never said Chicago trades i mad i said other people, also i was more talking about some of the players that i already have.
Just to clarify are we getting rid of a stat or are we keeping all the ones we have now and just adding PPP.

Nothing is decided yet. And who cares if players you already had would be less valuable, you started off with them and would've had them anyway. It affects all teams equally
