This isnt even close boys..Vokoun is old sure he is a starter but after this year who knows..Joel Ward is a plugger and penalty killer and thats all he is and Oren u are getting Gaborik for these 2 even Gaborik alone for these 2 isnt fair.. Mason is still young and plenty of upside and i starting too play better lately and Caps get a First Rounder in Mcilrath who was a 10th overall pick in 2010 and a good shutdown prospect with upside and dont know how Oren u are getting a good prospect out of this..Sorry guys this trade is very one sided.. Yes i know we are suppose too vote everything in but come on.... I vote VETO for this trade and i know i will have GMS mad at me but i was told too be honest and thats what i am being

mcilrath isnt that good. Joel Ward is young and who knows what he can evolve into. Vokoun may be OLD BUT IT doenst matter how he has been playing this year, he is an elite goalie. MASON WONT EVEN START AFTER THIS YEAR BECAUSE THEY WILL BE GETTING A GREAT GOALIE IN RETURN FOR CARTER OR NASH...

we don't only veto if it ruins a team per se, because what if a team is just incredibly good and cant be ruined? we veto if its just a terrible trade that has no reason to pass

Accept -
i think Mason will lose his starting gig for the rest of his career, he's just bad....vokoun has 2yrs left of starting and ward should be serviceable - gaborik also has a tendancy for injury....it looks worse than it is at first glance

Mcllrath isnt very good sure he aint a offensive dynamo but he puts up hits blocks pims and sure he aint good in your eyes but as a voter i see it different and on hockey futures they list this guy as one of the Rangers top 5 prospects... That must be ****ty..And for Joel Ward he aint that young and he does nothing the only categories u really find him in is blocked shots and hits and those he is way down.. He is 232nd in blocked shots 296th in hits and he doesnt get points or pims..So honestly thats a bench player..And Gabby is a top 10 goal scorer and for sure top 20 points in league if not top 15.. I am getting sick of how anytime someone on council votes for a unfair trade its right away not right and someone off the council has too comment.. Why have a trade council then?? Lets just let everything get voted in.. i am just trying too be honest and state my facts with the best knowledge i have.. I dont know any of u and just trying too be fair.. When my trade got Vetoed i didnt come on here and make comments about it..It sucked but i lived with it and didnt hold grudges against the council members that vetoed it.. Just have had enough and if u guys want a different Council member because i dont approve every trade then take me off..I vote by looking at the players career number current numbers so i look at everything before i make a decison.. I dont just bull**** my way through and hold grudges cause someone vetoed this or that.. This is silly.. I apologize if i am offending anyone by the way i vote but just trying too be fair too everyone.. Have a good day

Wow everytime I make a trade its a controversy lol everyone needs to chill. This was a package deal that made it work so Caps getty Gabby and I get Koun. Of course it looks weird cuz capitals are getting Gaborik and im getting ward. But caps are taking the same hit in going from koun to mason. I threw in Mcilrath because goalies tend to have a higher value than scorers. Please dont think i am trying to start an argument. I am just explaining my side of a trade I am involved in.

Ok heres how i see it.. Vokoun for Mason which is fine thats a pass the part that bugs me is Gaborik & Mcllrath for J Ward.. Too me it should be Caps throwing in prospect with Ward for Gaborik atleast if not more... There thats how i see it.. Sorry Rangers and Oren if i have offended u guys

Your not understanding the point of the trade. I am not trying to argue but to say that "Vokoun for Mason is equal" and im taking a hit on gaborik for ward is strange to me. I think you need to have a look again at the players involved in this trade before you just see Gaborik for Ward.

Yes Rangers.. Vokoun is turning 36 years old this summer and he maybe has another year left as a starter and it wont be with Caps cause of their young goalies.. And Mason is still only 23 years old and has great potential..He has a ****ty team in front of him and that makes a big difference like too see what Vokoun would do at his age as Jackets goalie he wouldnt fair any better.. And for Ward he is a nobody he had 1 decent year in playoffs with Preds and has never cracked 35 Points and as i pointed out does nothing on defensive side either.. So maybe go do some studying yourself maybe look at Gaborik's stats.. Not a chance thats fair..Sure he might get hurt but so might anybody else and even if he does get hurt he still will have better stats than Ward Oh and throw in a Decent prospect too boot with Gaborik makes no sense.. All this does is load up Caps on the offensive side .. But whatever this pool is pretty funny on how guys value players..But like i said it will get approved no matter what so who gives a ****!!! Might be time too walk away from this pool cause it is pretty easy too find pools that have active managers.. Not gonna watch guys get loaded up so every year they win.. Just trying too be fair but if it dont matter then why even care about this thing

You guys think Vokoun is old at 36, haha. Look at Thomas and Brodeur and there both still tearing it up. Vokoun will probably go to 40-41. Goalies are gold in fantasy hockey. This is a 30 team league, to be able to get another is huge so gaborik for vokoun is completley fair in my books.
