I know I overacted and said some stupid stuff about you JetsGM but thank you for defending this trade. Vokoun is = to gaborik at his position. As you said a 36 year old goalie still can have at least 3 solid years left as a starter and with the way neuvirth has played this year I think the caps will dump green and semin if they dont take paycuts so they can resign vokoun who has been shakey at points this season but overall has been fairly solid. As far as Ward goes his minutes have been hurt by playing 3rd string to Brouwer and Knuble but Knuble is gonna retire after this year or not be on the caps so Wards #s will go up a bit. I agree Mason still has potential for upside and he is far from done in the league. He will be a back up or possibly a starter with a team like tampa bay next year. It was a risk I was willing to take and I feel both sides made a risk that we as GMs were willing to take to do what we believe improves our teams. Cheers and dont stop expressing your opinion. Cant we all just get along. We are all here because we love hockey. We shouldnt be argueing like this.

OK i have a problem with this VETO... THIS shouldnt count because of the following...
1. before he said it wasnt a bad trade... 2. he only did it and he will deny it but its true that the only reason he did it was because i changed my vote on his trade but i did that because i said borderline veto and changed it.... Bryn if you are going to hold grudges then you may have to be kicked out of the trade board.

APPROVE. I do think that the rangers lost this trade, but somebody has to. You people are overreacting, as long as both teams accept the trade and the trade wont ruin the league or a team, you can't just veto it. It's not a horrible trade. There are only 30 starting goalies and 30 teams, so Vokoun is still extremely valuable at his age. Besides Mason has been extremely shaky this year.

This league has so much potential but really getting sick of all the Bob McKenzies it totally ruining the league.. when a guy cant vote for a veto cause he feels the trade is un even theres something wrong.. If u dont want a trade too totally get rejected than make better trade proposals , Its that simple.. And this wasnt a comment directed at u Oren it was for the league

Very few trades are going to be perfectly even! Someone's going to win, and someone's going to lose. Just because you personally don't like a trade doesn't give you justification to veto it unless it ruins a team. People are going to make mistakes, live with it

After MUCH deliberation, I have decided to approve this trade as both parties have provided valid reasoning. Vokoun will put up good numbers for the next few years and Mason is looking like a bust.
