i dont udnerstand you question kings There were a few that have gone unanswered actually... + Why is there a lack of uniformed Commissioner response and presence on these questions that confirm what the rules state and don't state? + "Suggestions" have been made on this thread after the oversight was made, but why is there no address as to why the allowance was never mentioned or previously discussed? I have a few others -- and really, these are pretty straight forward questions requiring pretty simple answers... + Why wouldnt an unlisted player on an SCFL roster be available for trading or acquiring regardless of the required roster requirements? For example: Team A approaches Team B about a player that is in his NHL team, but not listed on his SCFL roster at the moment. Unaware of a specific rule prohibiting such an action, Team A (and/or Team B) approaches a Commissioner and is told that such an action cannot take place... + What's the difference in terms of roster allowance that determines impromptu asset management (ie going over roster limits) is allowed, but mining unlisted players isn't? That makes zero sense if we have loosened roster and asset limits until an as yet to be announced date.

If a player is unlisted it means that they are unowned so how could you trade for an unowned player. It means they are a UFA and can be bid on when FA opens, which makes them even easier to acquire. Seriously can you stop your bitching and complaining?

Kings like I said before you can go over roster limit if u r back under it by a certain date that we are deciding. You don't need o worry about that date because it won't be in the near future

Sam let's make it that u can go over cap limit and roster limit during the offseason but you have to be under it by the regular seasons start. If not you lose a draft pick in the following years draft depending on how bad it is.

Penalty for loss of draft pick may not be sufficent especially if it is a low picking team.
Maybe be better to VOID the last transaction that put the team over the cap limit.

Seriously can you stop your bitching and complaining? Well....wait a second here...what you're calling "bitching" and "complaining" have been legitimate questions, otherwise, you would have just answered them directly the first time, and wouldnt have brought them up as worthy of discussion, given that you haven't actually settled on a decision, right? If you as a Commissioner haven't sufficiently answered questions concerning the rules, then who's problem is that? Aren't they important? I mean the questions I asked, Chicago, only have one available answer to them...I wasn't asking questions because I didn't know the answer, I was asking them so that you or another Commissioner could clarify -- easily and plainly -- the obvious... And the reason I asked the question about the "unlisted" player, is because it's essentially the same kind of latitude as having more than the announced allotted roster limit. If there's no limit to the amount of players you can have pre-season, then why would there be a limit on ANY player, listed or not? If that's your answer though, then that's your answer...but the questions are legitimate... +++ At any rate...I might take a break for a few days...got some trade offers in, so I might respond to them, but my next few days are going to tied up with funeral arrangements and what not, so... Talk to you all later...

Kings, teams can be over their roster limit and cap limit during the offseason in real life as long as they are under it by the start of the season and thats what we are doing here. No more discussion on an issue that has been answered numerous times.

Seriously what do you want me to answer? "Because all us commishes are unorganized and terrible"? I don't see how that is anything more than complaining

This league is a great idea I hope we can all appreicate it for what it is worth despite the bugs and shortcomings. We haven't even started the first year yet. I think it is unrealistic to assume the commishes will have all the answers right away. Give this league some time to develop. be patient. After all, this is a franchise league. We will figure it out together.

Thank you Wild. There will inevitably be problems but we just need to keep calm when they arise
