Possibly my best prospect has a cap hit of exactly $1M and has never played in the NHL and isn't expected to play in the NHL next year either. According to league rules I can't have him on my prospects list. His name is Christian Thomas. www.hockeysfuture.com/prospects/christian_thomasWhat is with these huge contracts for prospects? Can we maybe get some sort of flexibility on the Prospects who have a cap hit $1M + that have played less than 24 games in career? Possibly a 1 per team thing like a Franchise Prospect Tag. Just a thought.

we are using cap geek. currently the rules state that all prospects get a default .5M contract but we might change it to remove the 1M limit and use their real contracts

Excellent. Much better.
Too many prospects are signing stupid contracts now. Having them capped at $1M would mean we would have to have all drafted prospects on our NHL roster and not gathering points as they wouldn't be in the NHL.
Thanks for fixing this issue for me and I'm sure many other GMs.
